Well Happy Newby

Hi all, I'm a new kid on the block and have had my 1999 yellow Alfa Spider since late Feb. I love the drive and the looks I get and find the car handles well. Still find parking a bit of a challenge though I will get used to that, rear in parking seems fine, just when I have to turn in the lock seems small.
Being in Sunny Queensland am driving lots with the sun down so sunscreen is getting a good workout.
Have a great day
Margaret

Hi Margaret

Welcome to AO.

Glad to hear you parallel park (sorry dont mean to sound sexist) but forget trying to do anything with a GTV forwards - the turning circle is pretty naff but but you dont buy an Alfa to park it anyway.

Im sure you have also found that like any 2-door coupe, the doors are really long so your need plenty of space next to you just to open them and get out.

Have to say, im a bit jealous to hear you are getting a tan - the weather in the UK is pretty wet at the moment.

Hope you have fun.

Welcome to AO Margaret, glad you're liking the Spider. Is it 'Zoe Yellow' then?

You are so right I have the car to go. Parking will be something I will get used to and learn to do with grace, I'm sure.

Re: Newby

There must be 1000's of brothers-in-law in Brisbane, so a name may help.
