Great site, plenty of info. First checked this site a couple of years back when I bought my first Alfa, a 156 JTD 1.9. Car was o.k but 115bhp didn't do it for me, so I recently changed it for a 2.4JTD20V Veloce, man what a difference!!
Anyway, I intent to remap later this year, but I have a couple of things I need to sort out first.
1) I've got what appears to be a common problem with the syncromesh on 2nd and 3rd - need to check the gearbox oil level, or maybe do an oil change - where is the filler plug? is 75-90 fully synthetic a good choice?
2) 62k on the original clutch, still bites o.k, but a 50bhp/65ft/lb remap might fry it. Any views on this?
