Wave Big Hello Alfa Owners

My names Michel, Im 18 and just got hooked on Alfas.
Im currently studying at Unitec in Auckland and doing the certificate in automotive technology. When I started the course I saw an old neglected Mitsi Cyborg near the Technology block and set about acquiring it. It took a while to track down who I had to talk to and they wanted a trade. So where better to find a cheap car but trade me so I had a look and came across a cheap '88 33 Alfa for sale. Being such a different car I was certain that Unitec would trade but after driving it round I didn't want to part... So I've decided to hold on to it and see what i can to to "improve" it. Personally I think its a wicked car to drive... So today I have officially kept the car and am turning it into a project. So I set out to get some parts because as with most Alfas Im sure they have some rust and mine isnt lacking... the hatch is rusting at through at the corners of the window... and by the boot latch and theres some in the engine bay under the windsheild... So I went to pick-a-part where I had been recently and spotted a Cloverleaf 33 1.7 and took its hatch, rear lights and hood :P Well its a start... Hopefully I'll get some pics up soon and stuff I can't wait to get started

Its a Red 1988 33 1.5 twin carb with a gravy load of rust for a hatch :P

Welcome to the AO community, from a fellow (ex) 33 owner.
They're great cars for the beginner, not too many electronic 'mystery' boxes to deal with, just good old fashioned mechanics. I still miss my 1.7 Cloverleaf Veloce.
