jac's 1st AO interview

Your Forum name

Jac0180

Real name

Jacqui

Age

28

Occupation

Sales Manager for a Finance Company

Lives

Sydney, Australia

Marital Status

Partnered (not married, but working on it)

which cars do you drive and why?

Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Monza 3.2L Selespeed – haha, cos I can!
Renault Clio Sport – cos he beggs for it (like a puppy)

Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?

I’m passionate about cars that make my heart race with excitement, are beautifully designed and manufactured. The badge may say Alfa, but I’m not blinded. I can see other cars beauty too.

What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?

I’m new to the clan; I just recently I fell in love with one particular Alfa and then decided to buy it in a matter of minutes.
Before that, I honestly never noticed Alfa’s on the road. I think that has got a lot to do with where I live. There isn’t much of an Alfa presence in Australia, you rarely see them and you certainly don’t get any advertising or the like here.
To me, those who are passionate about a car that they don’t own often possess an equal yet different passion than those who do own one.
The desire to have something you dream of is so passionate in it’s own right (like the lust of a beautiful woman you want but can’t quite touch), add that to the passion of the actual Car itself and ooohh, I’m excited to think about that kinda passion.

Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?

Am currently looking for one suitable for me.

What do you like most about Alfas?

They just scream sexy power!!!!

What do you like least about Alfas?

The price

What would be your dream cars?

I just bought it 

What car would you least like to drive?

My old 1.2l barina

For you, what’s the most popular thread on AO?
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?

In my car (147GTA) with my man behind the wheel - he drives harder than me and I think that’s sexy! Listening to the engine of my baby rumble to The hunter Valley in NSW Aust (A massive winery region including 2 breweries which is what I’d prefer).

Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?

Not yet, but I’m sure I’ll make my own.

What interests do you have outside of Alfas?

Rock & Punk Rock Music. Live Bands (My man plays lead guitar, I sing a bit), Pubs with yummy uncommon beers.

Tell us something nobody knows about you. (E.g. special skill, ever been on TV, etc)

Special skill – are you kidding? I’ll keep that one to myself 

Do you have a party trick? If so what is it?

I’ll try any trick if I’ve had a few

What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people?

Just recently joined.

If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?

How many aust dollars is that? About $120K?
Um, I’d buy a “beer factory” franchise
The Beer Factory - brew your own beer in our commercial grade microbrewery facilities in Sydney and Wollongong - beer and brewing the way it should be
