2003 147 1.6 Lusso

Hey, got my first ever Alfa at the weekend!!!

Already I've had a side light failure and a number plate light failure!! By the sounds of it I'm gonna have a lot of fun changing them this weekend!!!!

Number plate is easy, sidelight is a ****ER

I just got my indie to change the sidelight for me (maybe I have big hands or summat???)

Welcome to the forum

Hi and welcome in the AO

I'd double check the lights are actually out, as my old 147 always used to tell lies! Naughty Alfa

Hello & welcome I am new too, I had a side light go on my 147 and have fingers like bananas but found if you did it in the dark with the side lights on and looked through the front of the headlamp glass you can see where the bulb has to go.

Yep mine quite often tells me I've got a light out but it's actually working, usually its rear fog light failure. Must admit I did look at the side light bulbs when changing a dipped beam bulb & wondered how on earth you are meant to change it!!
