New 156 Sportwagon owner here...

Hi - Andy from Dartford (Kent, UK) here. Picked up a 2003 156 SW 2.4JTD from Ireland yesterday. The engine management warning and ABS warning were on, and felt like Turbo not coming in at all. Got £1000 off as a result, but looking forward to a huge bill! (particularly as there is a nasty creak from the nearside front suspension as well)

Still, it is the most fabulous looking car, metallic light green with tan leather, pristine in and out, and the Bose sound system made the drive from Liverpool to Dartford a positive pleasure. Even in "limp home" mode I enjoyed the drive, and can't wait till it's fully sorted! I expect big bills, but I think it wil be worth it! Only saw 2 other Alfas on the way home - Perhaps they were all in for repair today!

Helllo Andy, welcome to the forum. On here you will find the guys will be able to give you loads of advice about your SW. I love mine, despite a large bill just before Christmas. I still can't stop looking at it and can't wait to drive it to south west Wales for Easter!
