156 2.0 TS Sportswagon 2005

Hi All, this is my first post. I bought my beauty 2 years ago, she (Gina) is rosso red and puts a more or less permanent smile on my face when I drive. It's my first Alfa (I owned 2 fiats before which were also very good but not like this) and I will never buy another make of car (except if I win the lotto and can upgrade to ferrari).

I live in Pretoria in South Africa and my car has about 45000k on the clock. When I have paid for it (2010) I am interested in increasing the power. There is a company here called Steve's Auto Clinic which claims to be able to give about an extra 35KW with mods to head, exhaust and intake. Does anyone have experience and comments to make on this as regards positives/negatives afterwards?

I would also like to work on Gina myself once the service contract expires and I get a garage and would like to know where to get tools and manuals.

Am enjoying the site, cheers, Steve
