there i have finally joined up... some say we are sad folk with no life... but we know better, dont we? late nights browsings internet forums on.... our cars. some looking for help with their addiction, some looking to show off, some making new friends... some just well browsing. Me. I realise i just love my car... it almost 8 now with 87k miles up, 71k of them are my own. We have had 2 timeing belts together. a few head lamps bulbs, a door rubber, plenty of oil changes, new rubber when needed but never has she stopped, failed, hicupped, gotten the hump had a bad day, no pmt, not so much as a sneeze. I love to hear her purrr, when i stroke her pedals and caress the leather clad curves of her wheel and her firm leather bound gear shaft. she is like a musical instrument... eh hm... sorry back on message getting carried away there. After all it's only my means of transport nothing more, well maybe. I do feel that as we spend so much time in cars that they might as well be fun and exciting. I like cars and would be fairly up to speed on what makes them work but I cant honestly say, that the 156, and mine is the sportwagon, in Alfa red with those phone dial alloys, and roof bars... well it looks the biz, I can say that it is the best looking accessable motor car on the market.
Anyway, this is my hello message I've gone on a bit so here goes Hello to all Alfa drivers out there. hope I can contgribute as much as I get form this excellent forum. Safe and smiley driving to you all...Dex
