Re: Back in Alfa Land

Thank you for a warm welcome! Looking forward to using the forum to get better knowledge and insight!
The 166 is so far a real joy! I will spend the next weeks doing some upgrades. The car has covered 100'km since new so springs and dampers from Eibach and Bilstein has been ordered together with new PU bushings for the rear suspension. Have also ordered "GreenStuff" brake pads and some other "goodies" to go. Life is good in Alfa Land!:-)

Re: Back in Alfa Land

Next thing to investigate is the electronic gadgets. Being an electrical engineer it is just too tempting to leave the ICS in peace....

1) I have a Nokia CK7W. This needs to be integrated! I will first look if the harness has been pulled for telephones in the armrest. If not, its time for some serious interfacing. Anyone with some experience?

2) My video Ipod seems like an alternative to hack in as a navi unit. G2 does not work in Norway anyway, so using the RGB output of my Ipod Video in some way with the ICS should maybe be a good thing. All previous experience may keep me out from futile work and reports and hints are highly valued!

3) Anyone got a workshop CDfor the 166 2.5 V6 to share???
