As an Alfa owner for the past 38 years (somewhat more than the average age of members) I thought it time to join. Currently running my latest 75 Twin Spark Veloce and possibly looking for another - not 3ltr, couldn't live with the fuel consumption.

How about a 3.2 then

Thanks for the welcomes - and yes I do know a lot about the old all-alloy twin cam Alfas but, with Alfas, there's always comething new to learn, isn't there? It was a hugely expensive learning curve back in the early 1970s, I can tell you.
As I come from the era of typewriters and carburettors, I'm not much use at trawling around this website - so hope this gets to where it is supposed to go.
Am thinking of a 146 ti for everyday use - is there a big difference between the 2L and the 1.8L anyone?
