Taking the plunge - in France...

Hello All,

After too long driving something pretty banal for most of the mileage I notch up I've finally reached a stage where I can get back to enjoying motoring again - by buying an Alfa.

Currently abandoning the first plan to go for a nice 147 m-jet TI (too small) and now pondering a 156 SW. Found a nice 175bhp 2.4, 2004 Selective model with Alfa fsh, but unsure about the extra weight, fuel consumption and insurance costs, compared with the 140bhp 1.9.

Any thoughts, please?

RM - western France

Re: Taking the plunge - in France...

Thanks - it's good to be here.

Since I'm obviously (but inadvertently) off-topic in the Introductions area, I'll continue the 'which 156' theme with a new post in the appropriate model area.

See you there...

RM
