Started years ago with alfa's.
In no particular order,I've had a 75 Twin Spark, 164 3.0 Auto,Alfetta 1600, sprint, 33, 156 1.8, and now the 166 auto.
Other than the 156 and 166, everyone I bought with a major fault and repaired (funds were scarce then).
Bought the 164 with broken cambelt, replaced both heads, reversed out of the garage, and the P/S rack blew up!!, so straight back into the garage for another 2 days, but after that, the car was great, until reverse gear started slipping -those ZF auto boxes are rubbish!!
I read somewhere that if you rev the engine in Park or Neutral, you can blow the box up!!!
