I am the proud owner of a 05 Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 JTS Veloce. Had it now since mid Nov 2007. A bit of a change from the previous car the very trusty family Skoda Felicia Estate. Kids are a bit older now so decided to get something a bit special, looked at all sorts even tested a Mazda RX8. Hadnt even thought about ALfa's until a guy at work mentioned he had an Alfa 147 and suggested having a look at the 156. Researched Alfa's via t'internet mentioned Alfa's to the wife whose response was 'a cars a car, dont see what the fuss is'. Spotted one at a dealer in Chesterfield, took it for a drive. Got back and the wife just said 'buy it' so i did. The problem now is i rarely get a look in, my part in ownership is washing and checking oil and fluid levels. Hey ho.
I do have a question though. Before the final deal was struck i had them replace the cam belt, it is 2 1/2 years old with now 28,500 miles, as the general impression i got was 36 k or 3 years, so safe rather than sorry. Any how i have a little sticker in the car stating its been changed with date and mileage, is there a quick way just to see if it has been done, i am not having a pop at the dealer, just curious.
Any way hello
