Just bought an Alfa 147, 1.6TS, 88kW, I've allready registered on the romanian Alfa Romeo forum and discovered the meaning of Cuore Sportivo! Now, I'm looking for other opinions from foreign users.
She was born in early december 2000 in Italy, arrived in Romania in april 2007 and it can be seen in my back yard since december 2007.
I bought it from a lady who hatted the sport suspension so much she decided to sell it after 2 month.
It came without service history so I had to change preaty much everything: distribution, transmition, oils, filters, break pads, tyres, sparks, and I'm about to change the sport suspension too.
Yes, she has bugs, but it's common I understand. Like Jeremy Clarkson said: even knowing that it has a lot of issues, it's worth having an Alfa Romeo for that perfect moment when everything works fine!
Or, like a fellow member said: having an Alfa Romeo is like having a girlfriend who is a stripper: everyone thinks she is stupid, but they all will envy you.
