Hi, about time I introduced myself...
Hi, I bought a 147 around six months ago and think I got an absolute bargain for such a top car. It had only done 37k, it's an 02 reg and I only paid 4.5k for it. Haven't done anything to it yet, other than get the windows tinted.
I've attached a picture below... I love it!

Cheers all... Hoping to sort out a decent sound system for it soon. Already replaced the factory fitted cd player, it kept skipping really bad! and the radio reception was terrible. I have some 6x9's to fit, but from what I've read it seems like a bit of a nightmare to get to the rear speakers.

What level is the tint? Have you got any more picture showing the tint better?

The tints go from dark, medium to light (rear window, back two then front two)... The place where I got them done advised me that it wasn't strictly legal to get anything on the front two done but i think the lightest shade should be fine. I can certainly see through them well enough. According to the DSA they have to allow 70% light through, haven't got any equipment to check but I should imagine they do allow that. I will try and sort out some more pics 2moro.
I don't know why there are legal restrictions though as what is the difference between having tinted windows and driving wearing dark sunglasses? (yeah... that will be my defense if I ever get stopped lol)

I got them done at a place called 'tintmyride'... crass I know, but they have done a very good job and you don't have to have any annoying brand labels on like 'custom tint'.
