Well Happy Newbie saying hi - looking for a 156

Evening all

I'm Dan - 24 from Malvern Worcs. My partner and i are looking for a 156 to replace her 206 gti, we have a baby on the way in May so need a nice family car to replace her hatch back.

A bit about me....
To say i'm into my cars is an understatement having owned a clio 172, clio 182 trophy, classic impreza wrx sti, nissan 200sx S14a and i'm currently on a new civic type s gt (company car). I'm also a very keen detailer and currently in the throws of setting up a my detailing website, its more of a weekend hobby than a business, but pays for the beers - i'm an electrical engineering consultant by day.

I've always liked the 156, the lines and shape just look fantastic....so i need some advice on what to look out for when looking to buy. We've got a 3k budget to get something mint!!

So any help would be great...i'm off to check the clasified section!

Hi Dan, welcome to the site. Get some pictures up of your detailing work!

Noticed that someone in Central Scotland had a '98 156 up for sale on the forum at £1000. Good luck (sorry - just noticed you've posted on the thread)
