Are you a real passionate for Alfa Romeo?

Thought so until I joined this forum. Now I’m thinking I’ve just got a warm inkling towards them.

What or how started your passion for Alfa Romeo and…
….do you think it’s fundamental to own one to have the passion?

I’ve always admired their individual style, not simply following bland trends. Be different, be Alfa. I wouldn’t say you have to own something you’re passionate about, lets face it lots of people love super cars, but not many of us are likely to own one (legally), myself unfortunately included. I’ve got a bit of an OCD for anything red and Italian.

Would you ever consider joining an Alfa Club or are you already a member of one?

Not to sure what goes on, but I’m interested yeah.

What do you like most about Alfas?

Brute looks, their nonchalance of all things important (electrics, paint work, reliability etc.) but leading the pack for sheer beauty and driving pedigree.

What do you like least about Alfas?

Their reputation, manipulated by people in tweed and whom are stuck in their two dimensional grey little worlds. Then this snowballs and normal people start to believe all the bad press, subsequently missing out on driving ecstasy.

What would be your dream cars?

Ferrari F40, Lancia Delta Intergrale, and a mint original Fiat 500

What car would you least like to drive?

Anything French.

For you, what’s the most popular thread on AO?
What would be your ideal drive in an Alfa (destination, passenger, driving music, etc)?

Not really had a good look around yet, but have found some fantastic advice on the GTA forum.

I’d love to trek through Europe and have Jessica Alba beside me both singing along totally out of tune. Probably to something Italian American, crooners style. Then slap some old skool 80’s on – De La Soul, Beats International etc. Then hopefully run out of fuel somewhere deserted.

Any humorous Alfa or car-related stories you wish to share with us?

Nothing I could admit to online.

What interests do you have outside of Alfas?
I’m mad about bikes (again have to be red and Italian and primarily v-twin). Also a football addict.


Tell us something nobody knows about you. (E.g. special skill, ever been on TV, etc)

Skipped the day off school once to go to an England game, only to be seen on TV by my teacher. We had our faces painted, scarfs, hats the lot, but the beadie eyed git still clocked me.

Do you have a party trick? If so what is it?

Double jointed, I can make my fingernail on my forefinger touch the back of my hand. All my fingers pretty much do it. As do toes.

What do you like most about the Alfaowner forum? Any favourite threads, episodes or people?

Not experienced enough yet to answer that.

If you had £50,000 you had to spend in 72 hours, how would you choose to spend it?

Probably pay some bloke to go give Livingston a good kicking.
