Coming back home to Alfa
Last summer I bought a Honda Accord Tourer. I needed lots of space for camping trips, worst car I've ever owned. I've got to get rid of it and get another Alfa.
Started with a 33 1.7 8v, then a 146 Boxer 1.7 16v, 146 ti TS, then a 147 2.0 TS.
I got so used to the 147's cruise control that I went for the Honda as it had cruise. The car needed a new gear box within a month. The build quality is worse than my 147 and probably worse than my other half's 145 1.8 TS. The automatic tailgate won't open now but that's enough about my Jap rubbish.
I'm looking for a sportwagon, would love a 159 but budget means it's got to be a 156. I was favouring diesel but it's so expensive now I'm not bothered.
I think that some late model 156's have cruise as standard. Can anyone let me know if this is true and if so which years/spec?
