Mooney New potential Brera 2.4 JDTM owner

Hello guys and gals,

I'm going to look at a Brera 2.4 on Saturday in Swindon and i'm hoping that the car lives up to everything i am expecting

Is there anything in particular that i need to look out for with these cars ? i'm taking my Delphi OBDII scanner so i'm going to pull the error codes. Are there any in particular that are big money to fix or any codes where it's best to simply walk away from the car ?

And if any of you magical Alfa experts live in or around Swindon and wouldn't mind accompanying me to look at it and advise on areas that are good and no so, i'm happy to pay for your time

Thanks guys

Hope you buy one whether that particular one or another, you'll love it.
Even though I've been a petrol head for god knows how many years, the 2.4 diesel is a very good motor, and sounds much better than any 4 pot once its moving. Just when its at standstill do they sound like a bag of spanners.

I have indeed bought one, not the one i saw at first but still a 2.4 in black.

I couldn't agree more about the engine. The 5 pot sounds epic at higher rpms for a diesel.

Really enjoying the car, needs a few things doing EGR cleaning MAF cleaning etc as i have the stutter at around 2k RPM but what a special car. I wish my drive to work was longer
