Hi, owned Alfa's for over 20 year, now onto a Giulietta. Once a mechanic, now more office based, but I still get my hands dirty. Kept up to date with technology and diagnostics. I'm happy to help with technical help.

Hi and welcome to the club. I've bought a Giulietta and she's my first Alfa. Hopefully pass the MOT on Saturday?? How do you find the Giulietta?

I love it if you are a bit forgiving. I snapped the drivers door handle, it's shiny metal but plastic under the surface. I think the auto-locking wasn't quick enough to open the door and the handle snapped. They're part of the door card and not sold separately. However being a mechanic, I dismantled it and glued it back together. You can't tell as it's behind the metal part, it's held, touch wood.

If you need any technical advice give me a shout.

Sorry for all in not replying to welcome messages, didn't realise you had to log in to check messages, thought you'd get an alert. Thanks for the welcome.

Thanks Kenzo. Much appreciated. My G failed her MOT. Nearside brake light not working. I thought she would but garage phoned and told me and wanted to start changing the light unit, I pointed out that the reverse and fog lights weren't working too and asked them to check the wiring 1st. Broken wires all replaced and everything now works as it should☺ Total cost were 150 that's for parts labour, MOT and retest. Happy bunny. Hope everything goes smoothly for you and your handle holds out...
Thanks again.
Neil.

Bugger it! You steer, I'll push.
