Hi

HI,

This is my hello post.

I've owned my alfa spider for 7 years now, most of which it's been sitting in my dad's garage as I didn't have anywhere to keep it after I moved. Finally getting it back, I'm looking to finish off the project I started all those years ago.

It's currently got the Alfa front spoiler, Eibach Springs and a Powerflow quad exhaust conversion at the rear, with one silencer taken out (does actually look tasteful and sounds gorgeous, if a tiny bit quiet still )

Found AO today and looks great, lots of useful info.

Planned mods when I get it back:

Alfa sport side skirts/side panels (the panels with vents)

Respray (whole or part) depending on how good the sprayers are and price. (Currently the tonneau cover and boot lid are faded). Anyone know a really good bodywork shop in london, who do top resprays?

New alloys (17" or 18", cant decide, what do you think? Personally I think 17" look better, as 18" can look too big on cars designed for 17")

Turbo or supercharger conversion (looking at autodelta J10Evo, as they are just up the road from me, which is handy). Autodelta are leaning towards superchargers these days, rather than turbos. I know there's the never ending debate on which is better, but I'm still deciding. As I also ride sport bikes and love acceleration, I'm more for the turbo at the mo. If anyone here owns a J10Evo it would be great to hear what it's like, any problems?. Supercharger's slightly less power and the same price as the turbo, but a lot easier for Autodelta to install (hence I think is the main reason for them going the supercharger route). The supercharger's easier on the 10 year old engine though and I can always remove it when I sell it. Still, it's an old car and only worth a couple of grand nowadays, so I think a turbo would be the most fun...

I've done a few ICE installs, so I'm hoping to put a sub and a pair of mid/tweeters in a custom shelf behind the seats.

Anyway, bit long winded and I shall be posting in the relevant sections when i get to each mod.

Looking forward to finishing off my project. Hope to be chatting to you soon. Cheers
