Hi there everyone, Happy new year to all.
I have a question about a restoration project please.
My father has a right hand drive 2600 spider that is in need of great restoration.
What we need to know is, where anybody might reccomend turning to for a correct and thorough job to be done within a 50 mile radius of Gloucestershire.

That is a very special car and becasue of that, I would not restrict myself to a place within 50 miles, go to somewhere recommended to do a perfect job even if you have to travel - better off in the long run.

Snap - I too have a 2600 spider RHD drive 1964

Have you looked at the 2600 owners club Club Alfa Romeo 2600/2000 International

I know that Rusper Alfa Rusper Alfa Romeo - Sales Servicing & Restoration Specialists on the Surrey / Sussex Border are currently restoring a spider and have a spares car or two. I agree with the earlier post - probably better to go to someone who knows about these things

The good news - record price for a sale of a LHD 2600 spider is now about 54,000 euros!

The bad news only 104 RHD drive spiders were sold in the UK ,parts are very rare and expensive. If you have all the trim on your car this is good news - if not try about £25 - £50 per piece for repro parts
