I haven't ever flown a plane, but I'd expect a professional pilot to be able to do it.
Hamilton himself said he made a mistake. Maybe he's right?

Certainly looked that way - if they'd brought him in a lap or two earlier, he might not have dropped it.

Yess!!
Go Kimi and Fernando! Show that lil'pompous boy where the real men come from...
I *almost* wish that Fernando took the title, although as a Finn I'm a natural borne Kimi supporter....
That would be so painful for certain Ron Dennis...:-)
and of course

Despite that, as a professional driver he should have been more careful entering the pit lane though. It is entirely his fault he didn't clinch the championship today.

I think making one big mistake all season and going into the final race of your rookie season 4 points ahead of your dummy spitting, door slamming double world champion teammate is quite professional enough.

Re: How surreal, Hamilton in China.
its simple he had no tyres left on the rear. He entered the pit lane to fast, making the back drifted out the only was to correct it was steering towards the gravel. But unfortunately he couldn't keep it.

Re: How surreal, Hamilton in China.
Reminded me of that very British bad luck in these situations. I.e. Hill getting punted off in Australia to lose championship to a rather good German driver, whatever happend to him? And Mansell's wheel falling off when machanic didn't do up wheel properly
It was the fact it was so slow and ridiclulas, just sat there stuck!!

What guff, he was hardly doing doughnuts as he came in to the pit lane. This is Steve McClaren's fault!
