The TT

anyone watching or keeping an eye on the IoM TT's?

Amazing, those guys have serious balls to do what they are doing on that road course. 178mph through the seed traps and approx 180 up the hills or on the relative straights..............my god, just watching the footage makes your eye's water, the spectators are a blur.

We can only get ITV4 (no sky) so will be watching every night at 9pm (shame about the presenters though, really get on your nerves) so roll on Tuesday eve!

Re: The TT

well you should have seen it tonight Mike! Side cars, no suspension travel and god knows how fast they were going. Stunning stuff.

Re: The TT

It's an awesome race. Total dedication and fearless competitors; I've been in awe since I can remember - hope it goes on for ever!

Re: The TT

I love the TT, wish I could have gone this year, the atmosphere must be amazing (not that it isn't any other year).

I've been three times, and it's always right up there with the best experiences of my life, even the year when we had to come home early 'coz we'd spent all our money to keep a mate out of jail when he got clocked coming down off the mountain at 162mph in a 60 limit...

Everyone should go at least once, it's fantastic.

Re: The TT

I'm on for next year, as soon as dates are released I'm intending to make sure I have a place to stay.

Re: The TT

RIP Marc Ramsbotham, a first-time TT racer who died on the last lap of today's Senior race. My prayers are with his family and those of the the two spectators also killed, what a horrible end to the 100th TT.
