And I suppose you liked our Nige driving them too?

I truly do support ANY driver in the Ferrari team of course, but I found it hard to actually LIKE Mansell (or Prost for that matter) Most others I was indifferent about, but some I really liked - Schumacher (for his ruthless determination, and what he achieved for the team) Lauda (for similar reasons, a decade earlier). Regazzoni and Villeneuve, however, I LOVED with a passion, for they both embodied everything important (to me) in a racing driver.

I did too - when he was winning - but not when he was whining.

Re: F1 2008

Its not looking good for sundays race, weather forcasting says heavy rain with 15 mph winds, could be interesting. So much for swaping round the race dates with Monza to get a dry race, Monza is going to be in the 20's and dry the following weekend.

Re: F1 2008

Predictions for Spa?

I don't think Kimi can do it. Either Felipe (if dry) or Lewis (if wet).

Re: F1 2008

I'm keeping an eye on Timo Glock, he's slowly getting better, but the solid money is on a Ferrari/McLaren lock out again.

Think you're right, its between Massa & Lewis again, although Massa has said he thinks Kimi could bounce back at Spa given his 3 previous wins in succession.

Re: F1 2008

But I don't think the issue with Kimi in the previous races has got to do with the track, but his inability to get the right set-up.

Re: F1 2008

Ferrari 1-2 in P1.

That would be my guess for the race, if they have the con-rod issue sorted. (and it doesn't rain)

Re: F1 2008

Forecast is for light rain, typical Spa weather.

BBC - Weather Centre - 5 Day Forecast in Celsius for Spa, Belgium.

I don't quite understand why someone of Kimi's experience would have trouble getting the car set up right, I wouldn't write him off given all it takes is either Massa or Lewis to have a non points scoring race and its game on as it was going into the last few races in 2007.

Just reading ITV-F1 website news, Bourdais says he expects to stay at Toro Rosso for another year, I think Gehard Berger may think differently!!

Re: F1 2008

Bordais had a great lap on light fuel and a good qualy3. But the fact is that both of the toyotas underperformed therefore there was space for TR in the top 10. Sebastian out qualified Vettel and hopefully he'll have a good race. Massa is in top form.

Spa is magical.....i drool during every on-board footage. I hope that it doesn't rain

Re: F1 2008

I think its going to rain at some point, watching the GP2 race this morning and it started to drizzle.

Can some explain to me what the E1 & E2 thing means when they do the grid layout on the TV, it was explained once but I've completely forgot what it meant!

Re: F1 2008

yup, very good drive from Hamilton, kept a cool head, and also from tora rosso drivers too!

Poor old Kimi, good effort though!

Shame it didn't rain earlier

Think I just heard that both Kimi and Lewis are under investigation, doubt anything will happen though
