Re: F1 2008
Yes, I feel sorry for Massa, who deserved to win, and Lewis, who probably deserved 2nd place. Still, every driver has their hard luck stories, and at least Lewis still leads the championship
I don't think Damon is as good a comentator as Brundle, but he does offer some useful insight into what's going on.

Re: F1 2008
None of you have mentioned my driver of the day...Timo Glock!!! putting a Totota 2nd on merit is some going.
I do feel sorry for Massa though. He delivered when it mattered and he deserved a win. I think the Mclarens were wrong footed on race day, and Heiki won by default and Lewis was unlucky not to get second, but lucky to get four points. What is going on with Raikonnen.
Not a bad drive by Piquet either. I think he is settling at last.
I think Brundle has turned into 'media man' and speaks a lot of hogwash. His pit walks are almost excruciating. Damon has a few wins behind him, so when he talks about really enjoyig the intensity of qualifying, you can believe him because he's been on pole often enough. He's the real deal.

I was impressed by Massa and the.... all locked up first corner aggression. He wanted it badly and he took it. Well done.Timo did very well but he only had Kimi behind him Toyota have definitely made progress.

Re: F1 2008
Nah, not really*
I think Massa is driving better than Kimi and will be the most likely challenger to Lewis, though this 10 point "loss" will probably mean he won't win it
*But thanks for trying

I don't know about driving better but Massa is much more hungrier then Kimi. Next race: Valencia is an unknown and anything can happen there but after that i am expecting Kimi to lift.

Apparently he was very unpleasant to work with..according to David Coulthard, Patrick Head and a few others.

Re: F1 2008
If Hekki does now raise his game after his first win Ferrari's advantage in the constructors cup may well disapear....

Re: F1 2008
I thought Damon Hill was ok, but didn't like the comments on Kimi. He was stuck behind Alonso for the first two stints (admittedly from his poor qualy performance), but as soon as he leapfrogged him he was the fastest man on the day. I agree he needs to raise it but he is not as bad as they are making out.

I remember reading an interview with an engineer/designer or similar(can not remember who it was at all) and he said something along these lines: People think Michael Schumacher has a bad personality but he is is a good bloke, but i can't say the same about Damon. And the DC comment came about a few days ago during an interview for oz tv (RPM). He was asked to name his least favourite team mate.....he immediately went for Hill and he said that he wondered everyday about which Damon Hill will i meet today. But he tried to justify Hill's behaviour: Damon apparently saw everything and everyone as a threat, especially a young DC.

Exactly, Kimi was in a much faster car, but rather than attack and try to overtake seemed content to reel off the laps until the second pit stop. Massa got a lot of flak of James Allen in Germany, but both in Germany and Hungary Massa had the measure of Kimi. Frankly Kimi looks like he's bored most the time...
