Well...as i said when you are aquaplaning TC doesn't help
So you still need good feel for the car but also for the changing track conditions.

My impression is that the Ferrari, for whatever reason just doesn't work well on the inter's. Except when the track is almost dry and the tyres are fairly worn.
That's why they left the old tyres on at the first stop, in the hope that there would just be a light shower and the track would dry quickly. Kimi would have been on a dry track with slick tyres.
Sadly that didn't happen.

Re: F1 2008
At least this season we're not having a run-away leader, things are just getting interesting now we have a near 4 way tie for the championship.
I remember last year at Monza the Kubica following was very good, god only knows its going to be even louder this year!

Re: F1 2008
wow what a race, my first GP, so much better than on the telly, the atmosphere in the stands was fantastic, and ive never seen so many people cheering at a ferrari spinning before i was worried that not much would hapen where i was at luffield but it was action all the way, im sure in the dry it would have been a bit different but the wet track made it very tricky for the drivers, kimi and webber both spun right in front of me and there were loads of passes coming out of luffield
shame i cant go next year

Re: F1 2008
Great pics, I was up at Club corner, great spot, enjoyed it so much, as did the missus to my surprise! The support for Hamilton is fantastic, some people in our Grandstand cracked open a bottle of bubbly when he won

On the other hand the Ferrari works beautifully with the soft dry tyres. Besides, they've had a loooong relationship with Bridgestone and they should know by now how to design the car in order to get the best out of the tyres(dry/wet).
But the seven spins.......well you can't blame the tyres so you can only say that it is set-up related, driver style, lack of talent or all of the above(excluding the brilliant used inters decision).
One thing is for sure: Ferrari will find out the root cause of Massa's/Kimi's spins.
They'll know exactly what was happening. And in the future, in similar circumstances they would defiantly get Massa on extreme wets
