Re: F1 2008
Good to see Anthony Davidson back testing for Honda and keeping his foot in the door.
I've just read the news article about Alonso, I've always admitted I'm not a fan of his, my opinion is he acts like a child when he doesn't get his way, albeit he is out driving the Renault he's been given and doing a better job than most expected him too.
Should he stay or should he go, read this one:

Re: F1 2008
If he wants to be remembered as truly one of the masters, he needs to do like Schumi did with Ferrari and take Renault from ashes to victory.

Re: F1 2008
Sorry to rake over the coals again but I can't believe people are making excuses for Hamilton. I have to pull out into high speed traffic everyday and I dont run up the **** of the car in front and strangely neither do the people around me. Speed in the pit lane is limited to 50. I don't think he could have been doing even this what a plonker. My Granny etc etc....
On another subject, Ferrari have the right idea especially when it comes to A1

look familiar ?
it should

So its another win for Ferrari...
F1 you have been warned...

Re: F1 2008
I don't think anyone is excusing Hamilton. He made a stupid error and has used "Alonso speak" to try and justify it. So he's been a bit of a prat in this instance. Those who have tried to imply some kind of deliberacy to his shunt need to get out more.
He can drive fast though, which is why he is in the car to start with. His pole lap at Canada was quite superb, and the way he scampered off into the distance pre-safety car was a lesson in committed driving.
If you think F1 doesn't need drivers like that then you should take up watching bowls. He has livened up F1 no end, and he is obviously very talented. He will make mistakes. Show me a driver who has not.

With you there, but I think his car was very light and I don't think it's the real deal, but we'll see.

Re: F1 2008
I could be wrong here but by any chance are you a Ferrari 'fan'? You do seem to have an inordinate hatred of young Lewis. I love F1 and agree with Alfalincs that all the drivers and teams make mistakes at one time or another. Fact is Lewis is the most successful rookie in the history of the sport...that's quite good no?
It's just been my experience that most Ferrari 'fans' are a little on the aggressive side of passionate?

Well said AlfaLincs. Its easy to understand how in the heat of the moment Lewis could miss the red light until it was too late.

By saying that you are completely ignoring a few very talented individuals that made Ferrari what it is today

Re: F1 2008
Can I throw a spanner in the works about the Alonso & Renault team stuff, we seem to be forgetting about RBR who run the same engines, especially when DC and Webber have been doing a hell of a lot better than the actual Renault team as a collective who are 12 points behind RBR in the constructors championship.
