Heard somewhere that Lewis Hamilton was seen dining out with Naomi Campbell. He will need to watch that he doesn't become another playboy. Playboys don't win championships.

Re: F1 2008

Well that is interesting and a bit disturbing(Honda is a driver(career) graveyard)
If he commits long term that will be insane no matter what potential Ross has

Re: F1 2008

Well, Honda has the potential. Only a few years ago they were doing very well, but they dropped the ball. It all depends on the car. You look where McLaren was last year and then this year. I can't see anyone in Honda winning a race next year, but you never know.

Re: F1 2008

But how would Alonson feel about having Button as a team mate. Button is well established in the team (like Lewis at McLaren), and the banning of traction control is likely to play into his hands...

Re: F1 2008

Well, if he only wants a 1 yr contract and def. wants to race in 2008, there are very few teams that would offer one to him. The top teams won't offer it to him so that leaves either RBR or Honda or Toyota.

Re: F1 2008

The Smoke and Mirrors departments are all clearly working overtime.

Alonso seen on Grassy Knoll..its only a matter of time.

Re: F1 2008

Thats true, but I seem to recall some decidedly preferential treatment was given to Alonso at the time with JB having a fairly tough time within the team. I am quite prepared to believe though that Alonso is faster than JB in any case.

Your faith in button seems to be absolute
And this all comes from the notion that Button will be great without TC(and this is on paper only no factual evidence)

Re: F1 2008

Read on some website that Honda have confirmed that their drivers will be JB and Barrichello.
