And you're right, you don't hear drivers slagging Damon off, but then drivers who know their stuff don't slag Schumacher off either, it's only irate 'fans' who call him names like 'the cheat' who do things like that....

He was a cheat!! Crashed Damon off, tried it with villeneuve, parked it on the track at Monaco. Doesn't stop him being a superb driver though - just not a gentleman driver

Andyroos right, after Monaco even the Flav called him a cheat!

On that basis both Senna and Prost are cheats as they did crash each other off

That's motorsport for you, always was and always will be, full of 'cheat's

Hang on a minute........Maybe I'm a bit late at joining in but did someone say hill's as good a champion as JV or Mika??!!?!? Neither JV or Hill were in the same league as hakkinen, Mika is one of the most underated drivers of the 90s, Hill was, as someone said, a great test driver, just like Alex Wurz is a great test driver! JV is one of the biggest turds to ever grace an F1 grid, there's a man who was there for his name if ever I saw one, I refuse to even acknowledge JV as a champion, he should've stayed stateside where he belonged.........

I realise this is open to sarky comments but I don't think you can compare Alex Wurz to Damon Hill.

I wasn't, I was using the example that just because someone is a great test driver doesn't mean they'll be a great race driver.....

Neither of them will race in 2009 chaps

They need to try something.

I'd say Brawn will have them back in consistent points in 2009........that's what they should be aiming for to start with....It's a shame because Jenson is a fantastic driver and it's a shame to see such a talent wasted....his wet weather ability is up there with senna and Schumi.....
