Re: F1 2007 Season
Talking about legal precedences and their bearing on the various issues of this amazing season, will be endless and inconsequential. The ONLY point, which most of us have ignored, is that the dominating force in F1 is not legal accuracy but the 'SHOW'. The authorities have proved time and again in the past, and never more so than this season, that they ignore common law when it suits them, and make decisions on maintaining 'public' interest. I'm proud to say, I'm not a member of their 'public'.
This is the last post I will ever make on this subject (unless the public interest forces me to change my mind, of course)

F1 budgets are a bit like politicians expenses, heavily edited and tweaked at all levels, and some teams are more honest about where they spend, what they spend on, and how much they've spent for it.
In short, I reckon you can add a respectable amount certainly to the top 5 or 6 teams there (Especially Toyota, it's common knowledge that their budget is by far the largest in F1, and has been since their inception)

And you have to wonder if Toyotas spending on F1 and their increasing quality problems with their road going cars is related!
I personally cannot see what advantage F1 has for Toyota even from a marketing point of view.

Re: F1 2007 Season
Looks like Alonso's departure is certain.
His new team choice is a bit confusing.

Re: F1 2007 Season
To round off the 2007 season, here is a most memorable quote given at the beginning of the past seasons (dedicated to PeterWolf ):
Rubens Barrichello on Hondas’ newly-launched 2007 challenger: “I have no doubt that the new RA107 car is a better car than last year’s RA106. My aim is always to win races - it is the same for every driver. With Honda behind me, I am sure that there is the potential for more victories.”

Re: F1 2007 Season
Great find BF - the sad thing is it sounds like what Button was saying in the ITV review of the season
