Is it me or is Mika Hakkinen looking for a drive at McLaren next season he's always there and even drove it again last year (before season start if i remember correctly)

Dabbling with me crystal ball a bit here, Alonso is going to leave Mclaren, and be tempted by the mega bucks on offer at Toyota, replacing Ralfy boy.

He'll give us the spiel about being in it for the long term, help in making them a winning team, be a team player etc

And promtly leave after a season or two of pootling around the midfield.

Getaway, there was enough room to get an aircraft carrier through. No way was he impeded. In fact I sailed a yacht through quite a small gap a fortnight ago...next to a aircraft carrier so I know about these things

He made a mistake and apologised for it, which is more worthy behaviour than we've seen from our previous 2 world champions after they've done similar

Looky here

Re: F1 2007 Season

Kimi's too much of a wuss to try anything like that!

Kidding aside, I think Kimi can overtake the heck out of anyone but is a little weak defensively. I wouldn't be surprised if Alonso passes him at the start.

Re: F1 2007 Season

 Well, if you rember at the start of the season it was Massa who tried to overtake, whilst Kimi seeemd content to follow...

Re: F1 2007 Season

Yes but the first few races Kimi struggled to get to grips with the car. Now I think he's into it 100% but still not the strongest difensive driver.

Massa's not a great tactician either.

Alonso I think is still the best driver to defend a position and to overtake.

Re: F1 2007 Season

Bad start for Hamilton, but he's still WC 2007 as things stand right now. We'll see how the McLarens hold in terms of tyres.

Spoke too soon, as it stands, Alonso is WC 2007.

Let's see if Kimi can pass Felipe. Something tells me he surely will...

Lewis can't do it now, well...as it stands

must be a gearbox issue, going off earlier maybe

Re: F1 2007 Season

nothing like doing it the hard way lewis

as for yesterdays incident, people are quick to jump on hamilton for any little indescretion, but remember that german bloke thought nothing of taking people out of a race if it was to his adventage, senna did the same, so lay off a rookie who is still learning the ropes of F1.
