I think he's been testing with them all season. And if I am not wrong, he's related to Satoru Nakajima, the man that paired up with Senna in the Lotus.

Hmmmmm. If neither LH or FA finish then it is down to where Kimbo ends up, prob in top two and becoming champ.
Is either FA or LH that shallow?

Maybe 15-12-9-6-4-3-2-1 would work, plus a point for pole position.
Whatever we think, If Bernie and Max like things the way they are, then that's how they'll stay. No matter how shoddy F1 really is. We have been spoiled of late by these wet and changeable conditions that even the field out.
I only hope the 2008 regs do their job,so we can have some better racing in all conditions instead of just wet, but I won't hold my breath.
The new scoring system was designed because the cars are all more reliable these days, so the prospects of lower order teams getting points was reducing every year. They expanded points to 8th place by compressing the points gap between positions.
The drawback is the lack of incentive to have a punt for an extra position (just 1 point more, why bother) and it places too much emphasis for my liking on reliability and safety-first (can't risk having a shunt).
If driver A beats driver B every time (14 races) except on 3 occasions, where he binned it by trying too hard (or wrecked his engine) then driver B wins the title, even though he was always second when driver A finished.
I say we should put more emphasis on the result and not penalise anyone who doesn't finish so hard: 5-3-2-1.
The slower teams can have a punt at getting a point by trying for the fastest lap (+1 point). In the last 5 or 6 laps of a GP (dry!) they can come in and put new tyres on with a light fuel load and try to get fastest lap. The 4 front-runners wouldn't want to mess about in all that (they have a race to win). It'd be a real spectacle.. 1/3 of the grid trying to win the race, 2/3 on qualifying style laps!

Well, that's why I think the FIA introduced the new system, they wanted to encurage teams to produce more reliable cars and discourage the bhp arms race. As you say, the current points system encourages reliability over out-and-out speed.

Nice to see then that in his first season I hear he's already looking at houses/apartments in Monaco. God forbid a British sportsman should ever want to pay any tax like you and me. I mean they're so special arent they
I don't believe the bull about being hounded by the press, it's publicity that the sponsors pay for.
Still at least he'll have 'interesting beardy' Jenson or 'unlucky' Dave for a neighbour.
I've heard the estate agents have got very specific instructions... no gravel drives
Oh.. P.S. I'm back.

Re: F1 2007 Season
Hey Chrispy
Please explain what the difference between aerodynamic and mechanical grip is?
What are the pros and cons of the two?
Is this something that a team would choose, and stick to, Ie is it not easy to change the cars setup, and is therefore an itricate part of the cars design, or is it something that a team could change to benefit them better on different tracks?

In short, layman terms, Mechanical grip is given to the car by tyres and suspension. It has effect at all speeds
Aerodynamic grip is given to the car by wings, diffuser etc. It gives a level of grip that increases with speed, from none at very low speeds, to lots at high speeds.

Unlawful is when someone breaks the law. Illegal is a large sick bird.

Can't blame him. I use the formula1.com Live Timing to see what's actually happening on track. Would recommend it to everyone.

Well, to be fair something did happen to Lewis' car, but no one thinks it was a McLaren dirty trick, rather it just showed an amazing lack of incompetence
