Saw on the news just now that Montezemolo said Schumi will be a consultant to Jean Todt, now Ferrari's CEO.

Yeah, but as Coulthard noted, he hasn't admitted to them. Sure, no one is perfect, but most of us can acknowledge our mistakes. Neither does 'being husman' obviate us from our responsibilities.

Re: A small tribute to Michael Schumacher

"Dan Dare" is just bitter that he can't make it stick like the man.

and his responsibilities are what exactly? other than to win for his team. again. and again. and again.

To the sport, which is larger than any individual. MS antics have, in many people's minds, tarnished what he has achieved. As Brundle said, if he'd won one less championship, and maybe 10 less races, his position as the greatest ever driver would be assured. But because of the manner of his victory, and his refusal to go head to head in the same team with any of his rivals, his legacy will forever be open to question.

Re: A small tribute to Michael Schumacher

Brundle.... a man who has always been able to talk a good game, but not so hot on the twisty bits!

and hang on, doesn't he live in Dan Dares pocket, giving him 'advice' on 'how to win' - yeah, Brundle, knows what he's on about!

Not long ago he said that he head NO regrets but finally he admits having at least (only)one:

Schumacher: Jerez 1997 biggest regret
