Rubens to play 2nd fiddle again!!

Williams have confirmed that Jenson Button has been released from his contract with them. I bet Rubens is spewing! BAR is built around Jenson. Should make for interesting times if they are allowed to race eachother. I think JB will have the edge.

So here we have an F1 team where one driver can't be relied upon to adhere to the terms of a contract he has signed, and where the other has been either outdriven by his team-mate come hell or high water, or he has been contracted never to finish in front unless MS/Ferrari say he can. I'd much sooner put someone like Nelson Piquet Junior or Nikko Rosberg in the number 2 seat and see how they get on!

On the other hand I have never quite forgiven Williams for effectively ending Damon Hill's F1 career when he was in peerless form (yes I know its years ago now, but bearing a grudge is fun!!), so perhaps being messed about by J.B. is just desserts.

Secretly however I hope Williams and Cosworth produce a storming new car, but where engines are concerned I'd tend to go with Honda to get it right first time..wouldn't you?
