Re: F1 season 2005
Who is S. Speed? And, with that name, why is he so slow?

Re: F1 season 2005
Scott Speed. American. Need I say more?
He spun out, and got stuck on a curb. Announcers claim there was something wrong with his front left brake. To me he just looks like he lost it.

Re: F1 season 2005
Ferrari is having gearbox problems. Michael's was replaced already. Apparently Jenson's car has set-up problems and is "out of balance."

Re: F1 season 2005
I see the Sauber team, that BMW has supposedly bought-out, has out performed the Williams-BMW.
Hmmm I wonder if the BMW engined Sauber(preumably called a BMW) will be faster than a Ferrari engined Sauber

Re: F1 season 2005
I am struck by how dangerous looking the circuit at Montreal is - its not many circuits today where you would see so much unprotected concrete walls - there is no room for mistakes there that is for sure

Re: F1 season 2005
i think that Button is very light on juice and the gearbox problems of ferrari plus Michael's lock ups(he went off the track during practice) so the Renaults are looking very good for the race.
And finally some performance from your boy Villeneuve well done he got one on Massa.

Re: F1 season 2005
Well done Button, lets hope there is no trouble for him in to the first corner!
Does anyone know why qualifying for the Canadian GP is not shown live in the UK - instead its on at 11:30PM
However the race is live

Re: F1 season 2005
Cool race and a lot happened.
Don't get it why Ralf was positioned right behind the safety car, since he lost a lot of time there. When he had been allowed to pass the safety car to let the safety car lead the leader of the race he could have pushed his car for almost a complete lap where the others were cruising.
And Montoya ....

And Monteiro ends again.
Did you notice how the tires on Shumi Ferrari were skiding at the start? Or was it me?

Re: F1 season 2005
Yeah,
As with next weeks Grand Prix Qualifiying - as popular as F1 is qualifying just won't be allowed to come between ITV and their saturday evening prime time schedule.....
Just think about it -- celebrity love shack stopped for Qualifying - there's enough of a complaint from the Kev's and Shaz's of this world with eastenders moving for snooker!
Now the womens football getting in the way of top gear - that is unthinkable!
Simon.
