Forgot about the latest round Rally Islas Canarias El Corte Inglés which finished yesterday, caught the highlights last night though, excellent coverage of the tarmac round

Rally was stopped after stage 13 when Vaclav Kopacek and Tomas Singer (car #32) ran off the road and hit some spectators standing in a forbidden zone. One killed, one seriously injured. Sigh, 2012 turning into a black year

I watched some of this, and was amazed at the route, which went through the actual town / village, then off into the fields. It was astonishing to see so many people just watching from their houses, and how narrow the roads were through the village.........
