Wave Giulietta Sprint Runs Targa Newfoundland

Targa Newfoundland is on again, and there is at least one classic Alfa challenging the course.

The following was forwarded to the Canadian Alfa Club, and I'm just passing it along.

==============

The intrepid rallye crew of the 1960 Alfa Sprint will be competing in this year's Targa Newfoundland, starting this weekend. For those interested in following the progress of the team, I'm forwarding Patrick Bowling's message below:

Morning,

Today Martin and I leave for St. John's, Newfoundland to compete in Targa Newfoundland 2004 in the Alfa Romeo. We built a Web site for anyone who is interested in following our progress. Here is the link: http://www.rodgateracing.com/

Re: Giulietta Sprint Runs Targa Newfoundland

Yeah, that is some coincicdence about the name. It must be an Alfa thing.

So far the Giuletta team is tied for first place in class with a team driving a 1953 Austin Healey. I don't see an overall placing/ranking system yet, so I can't tell who's winning the overall event.

Results can be found at the following website (if anybody cares): http://rallyscoring.com/results/2004...Class0.src.htm
