Hungarian GP

Looks like Williams have given their car a long needed nose job.

They're gonna be sick if it turns into a winner bacuse of this!

Re: Hungarian GP

Why do you say they'll be sick?
Just coz they should have done it earlier?

Re: Hungarian GP

Very generic nose .. probably worth ½ a second to them. The car has suffered from understeer everywhere this year.

Renault's to perform very well, BAR .. recent events maybe cloud their show this weekend. Kimi to fly until something breaks. Williams

Exactly. Probably shouldn't have made the mistake in first place!

Re: Hungarian GP

I hadn't heard anything to suggest their current nosecone was a problem to be honest, mind you, I don't really follow F1 like I used to...

Re: Hungarian GP

Supposedly the new nose cone is just part of an overall change to the complete aerodynamics package. I doubt it will make that much of a difference. I think there are better things for the Williams engineers to spend their time on, but this probably looked like an easy fix.

Re: Hungarian GP

Hongaroring is a track where you need loads of down force. I thought I heard that the new nose cone was for this weekend only

Re: Hungarian GP

Just saw the ads today. Apparently Hot Wheels already have models out with the new nose cone and other alterations. I'd guess the change will outlast the race.

Re: Hungarian GP

That there Willams is a crock.

It's the chassis that's pants .. twin keel undertray design never worked for anyone before (it has theoretical advantages) so Williams decided all of a sudden that they were kings of chassis design and to give it a try...! Nice one!

That Walrus thing was intended to give the air more of a straight run into that undertray. Sooner they re-sign Newey the better, I think.
