You mean it's designed to automatically swerve and take competitors out as a last resort?

Well these are surely some of the most talented drivers among the new generation but only Raikkonen has what it takes to be a potential champion (except being fast and talented). He is focused on the job, does not blame others or his team for poor performance, is consistent and doesn't lose it under pressure. Alonso is fast but very hot-tempered and prone to unforced errors whereas Button is imho too arrogant to become a champion (has already proclaimed himself as the best driver in F1 shortly after making the podium for a couple of times).

Re: Grand Prix Hockenheim

You honestly believe that arrogance is a barrier to being F1 champion?

It might not be a desirable character trait, but would you say Michael Schumacher, Ayrton Senna, Alain Prost, etc, etc weren't arrogant?
Anyway, I'm pretty sure that Button said no such thing. He might have said that it was turning out the BAR were being Ferrari's main competitor, which is true.
The main theory for why BAR have suddenly taken off is that they've got rid of JV's arrogance and are able to perform as a team now, instead of Jacques and his backing group.

Stori,

FYI: all cars MS has driven since 1994 have been built around his driving style. I remember Jos Verstappen "complained" about this already in 1994. In several interviews he said he couldn't get the car set-up to his taste and that the car tends to oversteer and it's rear end is quite twitchy.

Re: Grand Prix Hockenheim

MS likes a nervous and twichy rear end - well you wouldn't think it to look at him, but who would have guessed Liberace was gay?

The 2003 Ferrari was built to be more compromised between both drivers and the results really spoke for this. I guess MS gets his own way by account of him being the better driver. That's all part of being the world champion.

Mind you, it looks like things are about to change if Mosley has his way. This is a pic of the new 2005 Ferrari based on the new money-saving regulations.
