Re: Formula 1 season has started!

We have to admit, nobody expected these rankings after three races:

1. M. Schumacher 30
2. R. Barrichello 21
3. J. Button 15 (!)

1. Ferrari 51
2. Renault 22 (!)
3. BAR 19 (!)

I think it's that team with the Vodafone sponsor.....not sure though. Of course it could also be that small team from Italy......they're sponsored by Wilux.......something called Minardo or so.......I heard they're very promissing and are up with the top teams

Re: Formula 1 season has started!

It was a stunning lap and the final sector was just supreme!

Was nice to see TGF having to really go for it on his lap and make a little mistake. Just what F1 needed.

I just hope that Button isn't running light on fuel and lining himself up to be eaten alive by Ferrari tomorrow. I hope he's got the race setup to actually take the fight to TGF.

I am a Ferrari fan and love Schumacher but I like to see him race, not get handed the championship on a plate!

Re: Formula 1 season has started!

Chapeau for Jenson Button! Looks like he is the best of the rest.

And Michael beat them again: 4 races and 40 points, where is it going to end?

Kimi / McLaren was again very disappointing, but at least he could score his first point this season (thanks to Sato)

And JPM should grow up. Man, can he moan! Montoya is unhappy that Michael put him in the grass at 60 km/h, but he put his teammate Ralf off track at 225 without much thought.

I hope no one push him out of the track just "for fun". But I dont' see any other way to stop him

Can't he see how silly he his by saying anything about that?! Schumis maneuver was absolutly legal. He was in its way!

Re: Formula 1

Well with M. Schumacher being the best driver in F1 then it will end when he leaves one way or the other .
What happens to Ferrari when he leaves is a different matter .

It is a pity that M. Schumacher unlike his counterpart in Moto GP Valentino Rossi, is happy just to make records in the best team and doesn't need a challenge anymore
As M. Schumacher has said he just wants to have "fun" as he does not need to prove himself.. ...
Makes rather boring racing

Michael is a great driver but some of the excitment has gone from F1.

I don't even make the effort to watch it anymore (Sunday is a work day here) which should be very worrying for F1. I would like to see the viewer statistics over the last few years - its has to be dropping rapidly.

Imola imho proved that there is still excitement in F1. I can tell you about Button's lap record in qualifying (less than 1':20''), Alonso's race (gained 3 positions in the last 20 laps), R. Schumachers outing with Alonso just a few laps before the finish and the Barichello - Trulli, Montoya - Alonso chases right up to the finish line.

Well I still get some interest out of seeing how Mark Webber goes. But the Jaguar is like a Jag of the 1970's
You need two of the bloody things as they are so unreliable
