Lewis Hamilton

Apparently "Lewis Hamilton has been charged with 'intentional loss of control of a motor vehicle' " down under.

"intentional loss of control"??

Sounds like a contradiction in terms to me. How can you intend to lose control, unless you're on a kamikaze mission?

Well he can be a bit wooden at times, but simply because he had to beech his car in Spain, he shouldn't pine for the loss of a podium. It seems a metal chip bored its way into the tyrewall causing the radial tyre to deflate. Of course, a cross-ply would not have suffered the same way.

Anyway he remains a poplar chap. He just needs to spruce up his driving style a bit. But yew all known that anyway.

Okay, I'll shut up now

After years of manufacture on a tightly controlled production line, some of the key operators have left or been asked to leave and Lewis is now out of control. The newly acquired freedom of a young person with loadsamoney and fat cars comes to the fore.

Next his Mclaren will have spinners. Bigger wheels are already in the pipeline, but that's due to the regulation changes so he must be very pleased.

He's from Stevenage.

Give him time; there will be neons and a Max Power sticker on that McLaren before the end of the year.

Well spotted. It was one of my many typos that I didn't spot.

I like the way Hamilton drives.

Yeah, I was distinctly unimpressed with the race on Sunday. Hopefully things will improve at Montreal.
