Enjoyed that. I so hope the BBC can live up to the ITV coverage which IMO has been excellent!

Re: ITV F1 farewell video

I was expecting adverts every time we got to a good bit. Hope we don't see James Allen again explaining about why the white lines are there on the tyres every 2 laps - he was very restrained this week and waited until lap 5, usually he gets it in on the formation lap. Martin Brundle's pit walks don't work any more now no-one will talk to him, Louise Goodman talks to David Couthard again.

Not going to miss ITVs coverage, looking forward to a refreshing change but it'll never be as as the Murray & Brundle days

My Chemical Romance on F1?

Does that mean Emo chick grid girls for next year?

Good clipshow though. I hope BBC does the decent thing and poaches the right people.

Re: ITV F1 farewell video

I must confess I didn't like the video

Also, although I was sad when the BBC lost F1 to ITV, and the adverts are an annoyance, I thought the ITV coverage was very good, and I hope the BBC do as good a job.

I think the BBC have their work cut out to beat the ITV team. Adverts aside, they were gave great coverage and insight into the sport.

Re: ITV F1 farewell video

Good idea on the video but thought a better choice of song would be good. No adverts will be a bonus but they need to make F1 more exciting.
They need to do a figure of 8 circuit, carnage at the crossover would bring the crowds back.

Re: ITV F1 farewell video

And they say cars can drive upside down from the amount of g-force. fnar fnar. Prove it, put in a loop-the-loop.

People hope the BBCs coverage will be up to ITVs, I always remember BBC coverage to be brilliant. To be honest I don't want a full hour of Brundle and Allen's brainsquits to fill an entire hour. 15 minutes, quick rundown of qualifying and go.
