40 years of Racing photos

Only if it's of interest to anyone.............I'm nearly finished the mammoth task of scanning all my motor racing photos, both prints and transparencies, that date back to around 1970. Primarily for my own benefit, as they were all over the place prior to this and I could never find anything I wanted.
Please bear in mind that I'm no David Bailey, and couldn't afford much in the way of equipment when I was a lad, so the quality of the earlier ones is not great. Actually the quality of some later ones is pretty crap also, but I've included them all to make it a complete record.

Just select the year and it'll list the various races.
Obviously not only Alfas, although if there were any there, I usually got them.
There are still a few more recent events to be included, when time allows.

Purely random examples:

1972 BOAC 1000kms

1977 Silverstone 6 Hours

1976 Belgian GP

Cheers! I hope some of you enjoy them

Thanks for the photos, why not publish some of the ones you like best in the Just Images lounge?

Using the [IMG] code allows you to display the photos in that Lounge

Re: 40 years of Racing photos

Just refer to the link and keep them hosted on photobucket.
The links thmselves only take a negligable amount of space

As bigfoot says [IMG] tags tell the AO software to retrieve and display the image.

For convenience Photobucket normally has the IMG tagged "URL" below the photo too, so you can just cut and paste that in.

[IMG] tags only work in the "just images" lounge I think.

However you dont really want to display several hundred photos on one page, it would tka eages to load.
Thats why BF was suggesting a nice way to highlight some of your personal faves.

Having the link to the original photobucket site too included in your (yet to be created)new image lounge thread, as you have done above might also be useful I think.
So people can browse more conveniently through the full collection.

Nice photos

I'm not a doctor - but I really do recommend braking later
