Apparently not.

There are several issues here.
Does everyone have the right to participate in sane, safe consensual sexual-based activities?
Should anyone keep secrets from a partner?
Should anyone re-live an infamous time in history? (This is of particular relevance to his case)
Should the press pass judgement?

Now, I'm not about to confront all of these issues. I will however give MY opinions on a couple:

I believe we have the right to participate in sane safe consensual sexual activities.

I DO NOT believe we should keep such secrets from our partners.

Anyone else agree with me? Okay! My place-8:00 o'clock. Bring your partner and the whippet.

If he wanted to keep his antics way from his wife, that’s his and his wife's problem. Maybe she' also having a bit of fun on the side

Frankly, the intrusion of the press is a serious issue. What if they found rather than being into S&M, he was a closet homosexual? I bet the press couldn't have kicked up such a stink, so not to hurt sensitivities.

I also don't buy the "public figure" bit. If he had been doing stuff in the public, fine, but he was in the privacy of a private home.

To be honest I couldn't give a fig what
people do in their own private lives.

The two things that concern me are firstly the
coke snorting, beer swilling journos of fleet street
(okay they don't actually work out of fleet street anymore, but...)
passing judgement on anyone else.

The second is the moral crusade that uk.gov is on
to intrude into the private lives of it's citizens.
This seems to be the reason behind the egging
of such stories.

I hope he wins his court case. I do believe they
made the Nazi stuff up and deserve what they
get for being the lying sacks of **** that they are.

Couldn't have said it better myself

Journalists lie all the time and if you believe half of what is written then more fool you.
However Mr Mosley is head of an international organisation representing millions of motorists and was instrumental in fining company $100,000,000 because they were economical with the truth.
Yet he is willing to lie to his nearest and dearest about something fundamental to his character for over 40 years and he now says its nothing to be embarrassed about lots of people do it.
Double standards me thinks.

Personally I wouldn't trust anyone who's Dad had Hitler as a wedding guest.
