F1 drivers threatening to strike ahead of British GP

I read that the F1 rivers are threatening toi strike due to the fact Max Mosely has increased the cost of a super licence from around $2600 to $15,000 and then they pay an extra $3,100 per point scored.

I think its a fair point that if they do strike its for a purpose and not for the fact they have to pay for the 'Super License'.

Its an unfair way of charging under the points scheme if it is raised to $3100 per point, everyone is in the F1 world to win no matter what car they are in, the word 'Grand Prix' means 'Grand Prize' for a reason, and winning will only seems to make the drivers pay the likes of Mosley back for the priviledge if this goes through.

Why not make it a flat payment?

Seems idiotic to penalise the more successful drivers.

Sounds too much like common sense there biggie. Shame some of it doesn't rub off on Mosley.

Can't see a strike happening, there's too much to lose with the pressures of corporate sponsorships the teams take on.

Corporate. Businesslike. Sponsor led. Sterile. No Character.
