They are rubbish under pressure as he proved in china last year and on sunday past in canada, if you want to see true natural raw talent look at Alonso, he is the only driver on the grid out performing the car, i can't wait to see him in Hungary.
Have you forgotten what happened to Alonso's composure last year under pressure from....Hamilton. Methinks you are being just a tad partial here.

Re: hamilton!!!!

What got me last year was after all the complaining by Alonso about Schumacher's tactics in 2006 (ie Monaco), Alonso pulls a similar stunt on Hamilton in 2007.

Totally agree, just seems like the more he is hyped up, the more he thinks he is invincible. Remember last year when he thought he could drive on bald tyres?

I am still not sure about him, dont get me wrong, he must be talented, as every F1 driver must be, but I do think it is time to get back to basics.

I still think that every new driver should have to spend a season in a lower team before moving to the big teams. Only by making a bad car go quickly can a driver be even compared to someone like Senna.

Also dont like the excuse he gave for going to Switzerland, to keep out of the media! He is an internationally recognised sportsman ffs! Who is not going to notice him!!! Cant be anything to do with the tax man now can it?

Re: hamilton!!!!

I agree also. He wont win with that "I AM" attitude which is part of the reason McClaren are struggling this season and the likes of Massa and Raikkonen and even Kubica are starting to spread their wings. He needs to step back, calm down, stop doing ads and endorsements and concentrate on just driving. Too much is going on with him.

I dont think its all his fault, i think McClaren have created him in their image, and publicise him too much. It doesnt help that he's the first black driver either, now all the advertising for the sport is on his shoulders.

Re: hamilton!!!!

Oops, another penalty this weekend, and in characteristic fashion again, he fails to realise his mistake. So just for him and any other Hamilton fans out there...

Hamilton was penalised because he was deemed to have cut a chicane when he passed Toro Rosso's Sebastian Vettel on the first lap of the race.

The rules dictate that a driver is not allowed to gain an advantage by going off the track.

It was the second consecutive race in which the 23-year-old had fallen foul of the race stewards - he started the French race with a 10-place grid penalty for crashing into Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen in Canada two weeks ago.

Hamilton made it clear he felt he should not have been penalised in Sunday's race."I thought I overtook reasonably fairly into turn seven," he said.

"Going in I was ahead but I lost the back end and corrected it and went over the kerb, which I don't particularly see as cheating or anything like that but those are the rules.

"I don't think I did anything. I believe I was ahead on the outside.

"I couldn't turn in on the guy, or we would have crashed, so I took the outside line, lost the back on the marbles and went over the kerb and continued.

er hello

"I don't think he gained a position by being off the road," said Dennis.

"It is our opinion he was past before he got squeezed off the circuit. No position was gained. There's nothing to be gained from saying anything else." He overtook fine, there was nothing agaist the rules in that

The FACTS are..

If instead of a painted line, there had been a wall, he would have parked it. He clearly gained an advantage. If he had given the place back there would have been no discussion or penalty.

Thing is, I really want to like the bloke because I think he has the potential to be truly great. But atb the moment he just comes across as an arrogant kid. This behaviour is only mildly acceptable in the most driven of people and even then it's tiresome.

Advice Shut up..suck it up, and get on with it.

Regards
