David Leslie

I've been away from computers in darkest Cornwall for just over a week so apologies If there was a thread about Mr Leslie in the time I was away.

I'd like to say RIP to David, and those who lost their lives in the plane crash, and heartfelt condolances to the families involved.

I was fortunate enough to meet David two or three times, back in the days when touring car meetings were almost totally accessible to the public, and the drivers were happy to spend 5-10 minutes, or as much time as they had free to chat with the public.
I'm sure he would never have known me from Adam, but i'll always be thankful to the times he took to have a chinwag.

He was a lovely bloke, and everyone I know who'd met him said the same. He was never one to shy away from meeting the
fans, and happy to have a chat about whatever was going on (and not just to do with the racing)

A bloody decent bloke, and a sad loss.
