Re: Info about the crash at 2 minutes

Watched 10sec until realised the first clip
was Roger Williamson's fatal crash.

That was driver David Purley trying
unsuccessfully to get him out.

Had this discussion before. I consciously and deliberately
take a decision not to look at such scenes.

And i meant Troutys video not the Fatal crash! in case my comment was misinterpreted, as others have said its not pleasant to watch fatalities especially on a car Forum

Good for you, you're in a small minority.

Sometimes in my work it's inevitable that you and your colleagues see some gruesome stuff. A dark humour develops in the end, and thats how you get through it.

Re: Info about the crash at 2 minutes

Well If the mods see's the clip that i posted as being unfit for the forum, then thats fair enough, I wont have any complaint if they want it removed, but I just didn't post it because someone came to a horrible death, cause true, thats not nice, but for me it opened my eyes (to what i said before) thats all, and choose this clip, as there are 'worse' verions of this horrific accident out there, some of the comments that people have put on youtube:
e.g. :

crispixoo7 (3 months ago) Show Hide +2 i hope that when i die i can buy purley a beer in heaven. This man is a hero. I'm 23 and I had never heard of this until today. I would have loved to have met them both. RIP williamson and purley

Kuderer (1 year ago)
I think it's a very great tribute.

Yeah it's sad, but that shows me how dangerous F1 is ... nearly everytime i watch this video and think about it, i wanna cry like a baby ...
RIP roger williamson
RIP david purley ... last F1 hero

There are lots of comments

Anyways, I'm not here to argue!
