He kips in the back of an old Volvo estate apparently. You'd think his boy would have bought him a decent camper truck

Re: MotoGP 2008

I was there, £60 for a 3 day ticket. Hot Friday, wet Saturday, cold & windy Sunday, a good British weekend though.
I don't like Stoner, he needs to lighten up and have a laugh like Rossi & Edwards, but I have to admit he is a damn good rider, he almost lapped his team-mate on the same make of bike!

Well unlike Rossi, the 29 year old who never grew up, Stoner will not ligten up as that is not his personality....but I gather he was not best pleased by all the booing by the Pommie crowd......

Stoner slams British MotoGP crowd

Re: MotoGP 2008

and Melandri on the same bike, way back there over 3 seconds slower and dead last ....
I suspect that if Loris Capirossi was still riding for Ducati, he and Stoner would have been
able to sort out the Ducati's problems much quicker.
In reality, The Ducati team is a one mand show this year.

Re: MotoGP 2008

Cannot exactly remeber Marco's best season finnish, but I was certainly under the impresion he could ride 'reasonably' well....but maybe he cannot set up a bike very well..........

Re: MotoGP 2008

Hayden put up a fantastic race, absolutely gutting for him to come out the final couple of bends with no fuel
